You must understand the principles of standards-based assessment and have knowledge of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework and the National Certificate in Educational Achievement (NCEA).
You must have current or very recent recognised teaching and assessment expertise in NCEA Levels 1-3 in your specialist subject area. Preference will be given to applicants with proven regional or national involvement. Experience in facilitating workshops is desirable.
Contract and training
Suitable applicants will be trained prior to confirmation of appointment. The training is online and starts on 5 February 2021. Online training will take approximately 8–10 hours of online interaction.
Participants will be required to successfully complete the training before a contract for services will be offered. The contracts for service may be between individuals and NZQA, or between individual employers and NZQA.
