Our manager position is open to an innovative, committed and passionate leader, who will take an instrumental role in leading a team of quality teachers to deliver exceptional care and education, for all our tamariki. They will play in an integral part in decision making, and the strategic and future direction of our school.
The following skills, knowledge and capabilities are ideally required for this position:
Experience in curriculum design and delivery in line with Te Whāriki, Tātaiakoand project-based approach
Strategic thinker with a strong focus on improving quality using self review process and Te Ara Poutama framework
Demonstrates an unrelenting commitment for quality practice standards and the principles of Te Whāriki through role modelling of exceptional teaching practice
An ability to inspire, develop and lead a team of talented teachers with active coaching and mentoring strategies that grow teachers’ capability and strengths
Have working knowledge of Licensing Criteria, ERO, MOE, New Zealand Teaching Council, 2008 Regulations and Code of Ethics
Demonstrate outstanding communication skills both written and verbal, with the capability to develop working relationships within the community
A critically reflective practitioner who leads with empathy and professionalism.
