Sport Waikato is leading an exciting new initiative known as Taakaro Ora – Active Wellbeing within the schools of Te Pae Here Kaahui Ako (North East Hamilton Community of Learning). Taakaro Ora – Active Wellbeing aims to build a sustainable system where children and young people will have quality, fun, challenging and inspiring physical activity, sport and health and physical education experiences that support them to be active, engaged, learning and succeeding.
We are seeking an experienced – ideally teacher-trained – leader who is not afraid to challenge the system, someone who can build strong relationships which can drive positive change.
