Come and immerse yourself in the Te Kawa o Tangaroa - ocean centred learning professional development training session.
A showcase of ocean centred teaching activities and resources presented by educators from the Marine Stewardship Council and the National Aquarium of New Zealand.
Based on the brand new educational curriculum focussed resource, that was designed and developed by the Marine Stewardship Council and is delivered in partnership with the National Aquarium of New Zealand.
The session will be led by the Aquarium's education team and MSC's educator and learning designer.
During this free to attend one-day training workshop, you will learn about what this engaging programme has to offer you and your students, through presentations, tours, hands-on activities and lab-based experiments.
Topics covered include ocean sustainability, sustainable fisheries, bycatch, plastic ocean pollution, food webs, fish biology and adaptations.
